NRC proposes rule changes in response to EO
In April, President Donald Trump signed Executive Order 14270, “Zero-Based Regulatory Budgeting To Unleash American Energy,” which calls for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (along with the Department of Energy, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and the Environmental Protection Agency) to issue a “sunset rule” to effectively nullify certain regulations in no more than five years.
2024 ANS Annual Conference
Adrian Anderson, is the General Manager for Renewable and Carbon Free Energy, and CDR at Microsoft. Adrian has worked for a decade at the intersection of hyperscale and clean energy, for Apple, Amazon, Google, and now Microsoft. Prior to leading hyperscale carbon free energy teams, Adrian worked in renewable energy for a decade. In his current role Adrian leads the organization within Microsoft responsible for all wholesale carbon free electricity purchases and carbon dioxide removal program.
