NNSA green-lights Calciner Project decommissioning work at Y-12
The National Nuclear Security Administration has granted authorization to Consolidated Nuclear Security (CNS) to begin the decontamination and decommissioning work with the Calciner Project (CALP) at the Y-12 National Security Complex, in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
The Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences (NERS) department at the University of Michigan is consistently ranked as the top nuclear engineering program in the U.S. The department is focused on advances in nuclear, radiological, and plasma sciences to improve society in the 21st Century.
