DOE consortium begins new initiative aimed at growing fuel cycle
The U.S Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy, through its Defense Production Act (DPA) Nuclear Fuel Cycle Consortium, has begun a new initiative aimed at securing the nation’s nuclear fuel supply chain.
Tokamak Energy is pursuing the global deployment of commercial fusion through the combined development of spherical tokamaks with high temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets. Founded in 2009, the company has an unrivalled track record designing and operating spherical tokamaks and is a world leader in HTS technology design, numerical modelling, and prototyping.
