ANS Columbia, SC Local Section Scholarship

The ANS Columbia, SC Local Section Scholarship was established in 2001. The ANS Columbia Local Section will provide annual scholarships (up to $1500) for students residing in South Carolina and pursuing nuclear science, nuclear engineering or a related field in any U.S. program. Undergraduate and graduate students from South Carolina are encouraged to apply.

Selection Process

A committee of the ANS Columbia Local Section will select the award recipient.

Academic Level

Undergraduate (Sophomore, Junior and Senior)

Graduate (Masters or Ph.D.)

Amount

$1500 budgeted annually (may be distributed amongst multiple recipients)

Special Selection Criteria, Restrictions, and Other Special Requirements (If Any)

Applicants must be at least a rising sophomore enrolled in any U.S. program leading to a degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering or a nuclear related field.
Applicants must be a resident of the state of South Carolina.
