Kentucky disburses $10M in nuclear grants
The Kentucky Nuclear Energy Development Authority (KNEDA) recently distributed its first awards through the new Nuclear Energy Development Grant Program, which was established last year. In total, KNEDA disbursed $10 million to a variety of companies that will use the funding to support siting studies, enrichment supply-chain planning, workforce training, and curriculum development.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Austria is the world’s center for cooperation in the nuclear field committed to promoting safe, secure and peaceful uses of nuclear technology. The IAEA offers opportunities to engage current, meaningful issues of global peace, security and development while working in a multicultural environment. The IAEA Careers Program assists interested US candidates in applying to open positions and US government sponsored positions including Cost-Free Experts, Junior Professional Officers, and Interns.
