NextGen MURR to partner with Burns & McDonnell
The University of Missouri has entered a consulting agreement with construction firm Burns & McDonnell to develop NextGen MURR, a new 20-MW light water research reactor that will produce medical isotopes for cancer treatments and theranostics and will be used to conduct neutron science research.
We develop software for accurately, efficiently, and easily predicting radiation fields. Our Attila® and Attila4MCTM products are used worldwide for shielding, radiological protection, and a myriad of other scenarios where radiation effects play an important role in product or system performance, safety, or reliability. Our mission focuses around delivering state-of-the-art software leveraging both Monte Carlo and deterministic methods, and combining with robust CAD integration, to help organizations efficiently integrate radiation transport simulations into their design cycle.
