Not long ago, the operating units were greatly concerned that the nuclear renaissance would cause supply issues as suppliers shifted their attention to the construction of the new nuclear fleet. What are the steps the industry can take to ensure the nuclear supply chain remains healthy during times of crisis or major events? Will there be a ban on the import of Russian uranium? When will the global chip supply crisis be resolved? Will suppliers shift their focus to the construction of SMRs?
This session will explore lessons learned from the stalled renaissance, post-Fukushima, Covid-19 Pandemic, wars and political upheavals in countries or regions where the extended supply chain reaches.
