Industry and government leaders will discuss the near- and long-term opportunities and challenges involved with the deployment of space nuclear power and propulsion technologies, both on orbit and on surface. Some of the key questions that will be addressed include: Why consider nuclear technologies for the space economy, and why now? What are specific economic or other benefits nuclear power and/or propulsion technology solutions offer? How might regulatory processes affect technology development and deployment plans? What does industry see as a future path(s) to establishing a sustained business case for these technologies?
