Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) – Home to some of the world’s most powerful supercomputers, TACC enables groundbreaking simulations and research in nuclear science, engineering, and beyond—like modeling black hole mergers and neutron star collisions.
UT TRIGA Reactor at NETL – Explore the Nuclear Engineering Teaching Lab (NETL), where the TRIGA reactor supports nuclear research, criticality safety studies, radiation detection, criticality safety experiments, and isotope production, this reactor plays a key role in training the next generation of nuclear engineers.
This tour offers an opportunity to see world-class facilities up close and explore potential collaborations.
