The power supplies for the neutral beam injection and radio-frequency heating systems in the Joint European Torus (JET) are described. The characteristics of the main power supplies are presented. Since JET will become active at a later stage, no components requiring regular maintenance could be installed in the Torus Hall or basement. Therefore, it was necessary to construct a special transmission line and isolation vessel (SF6 tower). Typical power supply pulses are described.
