NRC approves V.C. Summer’s second license renewal
Dominion Energy’s V.C. Summer nuclear power plant, in Jenkinsville, S.C., has been authorized to operate for 80 years, until August 2062, following the renewal of its operating license by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for a second time.

The Finnish universities entered a new era starting January 1, 2010, when they were “privatized”. However, the main obligations remained unchanged, and according to the university Law the universities' main activity is to provide skilled persons for the society. This activity should be based on doing research and providing highest teaching based thereupon.
