To understand the applicability of diverter MHD stabilization in thermonuclear reactor the compatibility of the necessary geometry of diverter magnetic field with the presence of obligatory neutron protection is investigated. The carried out neutron-physical analysis demonstrates that there are no engineering reasons blocking the use of the diverter MHD stabilization in the thermonuclear reactors.
