High temperature fission chambers engineered for AMR/SMR safety and performance
As the global energy landscape shifts towards safer, smaller, and more flexible nuclear power, Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and Gen. IV* technologies are at the forefront of innovation. These advanced designs pose new challenges in size, efficiency, and operating environment that traditional instrumentation and control solutions aren’t always designed to handle.

A comprehensive assessment of the offsite radiological impact of the operation of the Tokamak Fusion Test Reactor is made. This includes a review of the dose levels from instantaneous fusion radiation for the case with no first shield wall around the tokamak, and from the release of radionuclides to the air. The dispersion analysis is based on local on-site meteorological data which has recently become available.
