The momentum behind nuclear-friendly policies has grown considerably, with many states repealing moratoriums, courting nuclear developers and suppliers, and in some cases creating advisory groups and road maps to push deployment of new nuclear reactors.

The role of social media in our lives and society has changed substantially since its inception while nuclear experts or companies have sometimes been slower adopters than those in other industries. However, some ANS members have excelled in using social media to drive dialogues and discussions that have had a significant impact on the future of nuclear and their careers.
