New Mexico State University: Home of the newest ANS student section
The newest student section of the American Nuclear Society has been launched at New Mexico State University. Formally approved and celebrated at the 2024 ANS Winter Conference and Expo, this newest community is the 59th active ANS student section, not including two sections currently in the process of revitalization.
For more than 65 years, the American Nuclear Society has provided a forum for advancing the state of applied nuclear science and technology. ANS meetings and conferences are the best way to keep current with the ever changing fields of nuclear science and technology.
In addition to two national conferences per year, ANS sponsors many topical meetings which concentrate on a particular technical area. Many of these meetings are planned many years in advance and are listed here. To have a conference listed here, it must be approved by the National Program Committee of the American Nuclear Society for inclusion on the ANS Calendar.
