Public conversations about radiation and nuclear technology are often shaped by studies whose conclusions don't hold up to scrutiny. This webinar convenes a panel with expertise in health physics, radiation protection, nuclear engineering, and nuclear policy to examine claims that recur in debates over nuclear safety—including "proximity" studies that claim negative health effects from living near nuclear power plants. The panelists will unpack the methodological flaws behind these claims and explain what radiation science actually shows.
