An Inside Look at the FY 2024 Budget

Members of the Department of Energy, Office of Nuclear Energy leadership team detailed the DOE's FY2024 budget request to Congress. Activities within the DOE NE support future reactor deployments, development of advanced reactor fuels, waste reduction, and management research, and many other areas that are critical for the longevity of existing, as well as for future, nuclear technologies. Panel members shared what the proposed funding means for the future of many important nuclear energy programs and initiatives.
