Selection Process

A committee of the ANS Chicago - Great Lakes Local Section will select the award recipient. Discuss each topic fully and give specific examples. No specific weighting of each topic has been set for use in the application evaluation. All eligible students are strongly encouraged to apply.

Academic Level

Community College / Trade School

Undergraduate

Amount

2 awarded annually @ $1,000 for Community College/Trade and $2,000 for undergraduate

Special Selection Criteria, Restrictions, and Other Special Requirements (If Any)

• The scholarship is limited to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are enrolled in an accredited university in the United States.
• Applicants must live in or attend school in the geographic area served by the ANS Chicago-Greak Lakes section (IN zip codes 46300-46699, IL zip codes 60000-60899 , 61000-61199 , 61300-61399, all of Michigan, or all of Ohio.)
