Molten salt reactors (MSRs) offer significant safety and performance advantages as emerging advanced reactors. A number of commercial vendors are proceeding to develop and deploy MSRs in the U.S. for a broad range of applications. This panel will put the spotlight on contemporary efforts towards commercializing MSRs in the U.S. Panelists will share their thoughts on the technologies and discuss their views on the current market landscape and opportunities for MSRs, accounting for their licensing pathways.
