Aalo and Antares progress on Reactor Pilot Program
Two participants in the Department of Energy’s Reactor Pilot Program have recently announced significant milestones on their associated reactor projects. Aalo Atomics successfully completed its final design review (FDR), and Antares Nuclear has received DOE approval of its preliminary documented safety analysis (PDSA).
The Krell Institute manages Ph.D. fellowships. The DOE NNSA SSGF supports students researching properties of materials under extreme conditions and hydrodynamics, nuclear science, or high energy density physics. The DOE NNSA LRGF facilitates extended national laboratory experience while supporting the doctoral studies in engineering/applied sciences, physics, materials, or mathematics/computational science.
