Kentucky disburses $10M in nuclear grants
The Kentucky Nuclear Energy Development Authority (KNEDA) recently distributed its first awards through the new Nuclear Energy Development Grant Program, which was established last year. In total, KNEDA disbursed $10 million to a variety of companies that will use the funding to support siting studies, enrichment supply-chain planning, workforce training, and curriculum development.

Rob Whittleston has held various leadership roles in both public and private sectors, focused on technology, innovation, and strategy. With extensive experience in research and management in industries such as nuclear decommissioning, transportation, and petroleum engineering, Rob has a strong background in building strategic partnerships and cooperation between government entities and industry stakeholders. Additionally, Rob has served in key positions at the National Nuclear Laboratory and currently at AECL, leading initiatives related to technology, innovation, and commercialization.
