Division Spotlight
Thermal Hydraulics
The division provides a forum for focused technical dialogue on thermal hydraulic technology in the nuclear industry. Specifically, this will include heat transfer and fluid mechanics involved in the utilization of nuclear energy. It is intended to attract the highest quality of theoretical and experimental work to ANS, including research on basic phenomena and application to nuclear system design.

Sam Altman steps down as Oklo board chair
Advanced nuclear company Oklo Inc. has new leadership for its board of directors as billionaire Sam Altman is stepping down from the position he has held since 2015. ANS has made every effort to secure the best possible nightly room rate for you at these hotels. That rate results from a negotiated overall package of event needs including but not limited to sleeping rooms, meeting room space and other requirements.
Please help ANS keep the costs of this event as low as possible by booking your housing needs at the host hotel and through the reservation process created by ANS. Reserving your rooms elsewhere means you are booking outside the contracted room block, jeopardizing ANS’ ability to meet its contracted obligations. Unfortunately, if this happens, event costs will continue to increase if ANS falls short of its minimum room block guarantee. ANS appreciates your support and understanding of this important issue. Thank you!
