Bruce Power’s hot cell approved for medical isotope production
The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission has given Bruce Power approval to operate the company’s hot cell facility in Tiverton, Ontario, for medical radioisotope processing. This approval allows the facility to conduct Target Carrier Removal (TCR), a key step in the production of lutetium-177, an isotope used to treat prostate and gastric cancers.
Gamma Reality Inc. (GRI) provides real-time, mobile, 3D radiation mapping capabilities deployable in handheld mode, on unmanned robotic platforms (UAV/UGV) and on vehicles, to enable safer, more efficient, and dynamic radiation detection missions. The GRI LAMP system is available in two versions: Imager for high resolution gamma-ray imaging and Mapper for dual gamma and neutron mapping.
