X-energy begins irradiation testing at INL
Advanced reactor and fuel developer X-energy has officially begun confirmatory irradiation testing at Idaho National Laboratory on its TRISO-X fuel. The testing, which is taking place over the course of the next 13 months, will evaluate the fuel across a variety of operating scenarios and—if all goes according to plan—will be instrumental in qualifying it for commercial use.

This tutorial will cover key steps in the journal publication process, including selecting the appropriate journal, planning the article, authorship dos and don’ts, ethics in publishing, dealing with reviews, understanding what editors look for and what they do, and an introduction to the Journal of Nuclear Materials.
This tutorial is intended for students and early career staff, though anyone may attend.
Box lunches will be provided. Limited to first 30 applicants. Must register ahead of time.
