The ANS local sections are an important part of the ANS hierarchy. A full list of local sections shows that most parts of the United States are represented by an ANS local section. Other than at national meetings or through Nuclear News, this is how most members get their information. It is also at this level that most of the interaction with the public and local community takes place.
