Breaking ground on a new approach to construction
The drive to Kairos Power’s reactor demonstration site in Oak Ridge, Tenn., is not only scenic—it’s historic. Nuclear science and technology education is necessary to sustain and develop the peaceful utilization of nuclear technology by providing qualified specialists. As part of the preparatory activities to enhance the nuclear education in Ghana, Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC), with the assistance of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) established the Graduate School of Nuclear and Allied Sciences. This study will provide a baseline analysis of the status of School of Nuclear and Allied Sciences in nuclear technologies that are relevant to Ghana's growing needs and investment for higher education.
