Investigation of mechanism of plasma ions heating in a multimirror magnetic trap became actual due to the essential progress in experiments on GOL-3 facility at Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics.

The mechanism of fast (in comparison with the Coulomb one) acceleration and heating of ions in a multimirror trap with injection of a powerful relativistic electron beam is discussed.
