The supply of radioactive and stable isotopes is essential for medicine and industry. Medical isotopes are utilized for both therapy and diagnostic imaging. Isotopes are utilized in industry as tracers, for imaging, and for calibration. Stable isotopes play an important role in radioactive isotope production, as environmental tracers, and clinical pharmacology. This panel will examine the current use and necessary supply chain for radioactive and stable isotopes.
