Congress passes new nuclear funding
On January 15, in an 82–14 vote, the U.S. Senate passed an Energy and Water Development appropriations bill to fund the U.S. Department of Energy for fiscal year 2026 as part of a broader package that also funded the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.

Fracking wastes include NORM and TENOM with regulations varying among states and federal agencies. This panel discussion will continue our conversation from the 2021 Annual Meeting by sharing insights from regulators and industry to better understand the potential implications of unregulated wastes and how best to protect public health while understanding the need for affordable and responsible energy.
