NASA announces plan for space nuclear propulsion by 2028
Yesterday NASA announced a series of initiatives, including plans to launch a nuclear electric propulsion spacecraft to Mars in December 2028 and a three-phase plan to establish a lunar base incorporating nuclear-driven heat and power.

This session will overview regulatory considerations and developments related to the use of digital twins, artificial intelligence, and machine learning in nuclear power facilities. Current advances in these areas will be presented, as well as the regulatory perspective on acceptability of DTs, AI, and ML in a nuclear context.
