Deploying Sustainable Nuclear Fuel Cycles

Global is a series of international conferences covering whole aspects of nuclear technology including the front end and back end of the fuel cycle and reactor systems. The conference is a forum for the discussion of the scientific, technical, social, and regulatory aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle. Topics include advanced nuclear fuel cycles, advanced reactors, novel uses of nuclear technology, fuel and waste management, safety, safeguards and nonproliferation, security (both physical and cyber), economics, institutional and legal aspects, consent-based siting, environmental remediation and decommissioning, and workforce training. The conference will appeal to an international audience as an opportunity to share information across programmatic, disciplinary, and international boundaries. Intended participants and audiences include personnel working on all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle. The theme of the 2026 Global Conference is “Deploying Sustainable Nuclear Fuel Cycles.” With the many new developments in nuclear over the past decade, we look forward to an exciting and productive event!

Authors and presenters are cordially invited to participate in this event to exchange ideas and knowledge, develop strong relationships across organizations, and establish collaborations to solve challenging problems. Please submit abstracts describing work that is new, significant and relevant to the conference topics. ANS will publish all accepted and presented papers in the conference’s proceedings.
