NASA and Radiant selected to receive HALEU
Last week, the Department of Energy announced a conditional commitment to provide high-assay low-enriched uranium to NASA for its Space Reactor-1 Freedom rocket and to Radiant Industries for its microreactor expected to be sited at Buckley Space Force Base.
The announcement comes a few weeks after Centrus Energy signed a contract to finalize the terms of a $900 million DOE task order to expand production capacity for HALEU at its American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio.

Age requirement policy: The conference is a professional event intended for adult attendees. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend.
Registration payment policy: Full payment must be received before an attendee may participate in the conference or access conference events and sessions. Attendees with an outstanding balance will not be permitted entry until payment is made. Payments may be made in advance or onsite during registration hours.
** A guest is as a spouse, significant other, or personal friend of a registered attendee.Guest registration includes access only to the events selected during the registration process. Guests do not have access to conference sessions, workshops, or other attendee-only programming. Business associates, coworkers, employees, or fellow students are not eligible to register as guests.
