Startup looks to commercialize inertial fusion energy
Another startup hoping to capitalize on progress the Department of Energy’s Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has made in realizing inertial fusion energy has been launched. On August 27, San Francisco–based Inertia Enterprises, a private fusion power start-up, announced the formation of the company with the goal of commercializing fusion energy.

With over 100 high quality papers submitted, this year's schedule is stacked with top-notch speakers and presentations. Sessions cover topics ranging from nuclear data and criticality accidents to professional development and knowledge transfer.
With increased engagement from young professionals in the paper writing and presentation process, we're packing more into each session. New this year, session formats will combine both full length, 20-minute presentations and 10-minute lightning talks.
