Shine receives $263M conditional DOE loan to complete isotope facility
Fusion technology company Shine has been issued a conditional commitment for a loan of up to $263 million by the Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) to support the construction of the company’s medical isotope production facility in Janesville, Wis.
Nuclear Plant Instrumentation and Control & Human-Machine Interface Technology (NPIC&HMIT 2025)
Tighe has spent the last 20+ years working in various roles in the nuclear power industry. His broad experience includes nuclear business leadership, instrumentation and control (I&C) system development for commercial nuclear plants, research reactors and advanced reactors, and specialty nuclear sensor development.
Tighe leads Paragon’s Digital I&C and Advanced Reactor Business Division at Paragon. He earned a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and an MBA from the University of Tennessee.
