The Meta-Vistra deal: A closer look
With last Friday's announcement regarding its vision for nuclear energy, Meta has entered into 20-year power purchase agreements (PPAs) for more than 2,600 MW of electricity from a combination of three Vistra-owned nuclear plants to support the tech behemoth's planned operations in the PJM region.
Please be aware that scammers may try to contact you regarding hotel rooms or attendee lists for the ANS Nuclear and Emerging Technologies for Space (NETS-2026) conference. ANS will never sell or rent lists and event attendees have the option to opt out of solicitation by sponsors and exhibitors. For housing, we encourage all attendees and exhibitors to register via the links on the NETS 2026 website.
Please note that all correspondence about ANS business will come from ANS and, if by email, from the domain “ans.org.” or "cvent.com" If you receive correspondence that is not from ANS, it is likely a scam or a phishing attempt and you should ignore. Please contact the ANS Conferences Team with any questions or concerns.

ANS has made every effort to secure the best possible nightly room rate for you at the hotel(s) listed on this website. That rate results from a negotiated overall package of event needs including but not limited to sleeping rooms, meeting room space and other requirements.
Please help ANS keep the costs of this event as low as possible by booking your housing needs at the host hotel and through the reservation process created by ANS. Reserving your rooms elsewhere means you are booking outside the contracted room block, jeopardizing ANS’ ability to meet its contracted obligations. Unfortunately, if this happens, event costs will continue to increase if ANS falls short of its minimum room block guarantee. ANS appreciates your support and understanding of this important issue. Thank you!
Yes. During registration, please check the box notating that you have special dietary requirements. All efforts will be made to satisfy needs. Please contact registrar@ans.org with any concerns.
Our goal is to ensure all ANS conferences are accessible to everyone. When you register for the conference, please check the box labeled "Do you have a disability or special need which requires additional support?" In your response, please indicate any accessibility needs such as wheelchair access, sign language interpretation, or a guide. If necessary, the ANS Conferences Team will follow up with you to clarify your needs. You can contact them directly at any time by emailing registrar@ans.org.
If there is specific accessibility information you would like to see here, or if you wish to discuss any conference accessibility requirements, please contact the ANS Conferences Team by email at conferences@ans.org and someone will respond to you shortly.
