Division Spotlight
Thermal Hydraulics
The division provides a forum for focused technical dialogue on thermal hydraulic technology in the nuclear industry. Specifically, this will include heat transfer and fluid mechanics involved in the utilization of nuclear energy. It is intended to attract the highest quality of theoretical and experimental work to ANS, including research on basic phenomena and application to nuclear system design.

EnergySolutions to help explore advanced reactor development in Utah
Utah-based waste management company EnergySolutions announced that it has signed a memorandum of understating with the Intermountain Power Agency and the state of Utah to explore the development of advanced nuclear power generation at the Intermountain Power Project (IPP) site near Delta, Utah.
ANS has made every effort to secure the best possible nightly room rate for you at Drury Hotel in Santa Fe, El Dorado Hotel and Spa, Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza, & La Fonda On The Plaza. That rate results from a negotiated overall package of event needs including but not limited to sleeping rooms, meeting room space and other requirements.
Please help ANS keep the costs of this event as low as possible by booking your housing needs at the host hotel and through the reservation process created by ANS. Reserving your rooms elsewhere means you are booking outside the contracted room block, jeopardizing ANS’ ability to meet its contracted obligations.
