LLNL researchers characterize hydrogen-uranium corrosion
A team of scientists from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has observed, imaged, and characterized the early stages of hydrogen-uranium corrosion for the first time, the lab announced recently.
"Setting the stage for multi-scale" mechanical testing. Combining microscopy and DIC enables new micro-scale experimental techniques. Psylotech’s miniature universal load frames are compatible with optical microscopes, SEM, Confocal, Raman, µCT, and even beamlines. Since 2006, Psylotech based in Evanston, Illinois provides precision, modular systems that change with research priorities.
