The nuclear community must remember the lessons from past reactor experiments to ensure the success of the next generation. Previous designs, such as EBR-I, EBR-II, BORAX, SL-1, Peach Bottom - Unit 1, and Fort Saint Vrain Nuclear Power Plant, inform the development of future reactors. Discoveries from these experiments are indirectly incorporated into current training programs, but their origins should be discussed to make them relevant. This session will review the significance of these reactors, lessons learned, and how results can be used for future deployments.
