EDISON (The EDucatIon Summit On Nuclear Materials) is a community-driven effort to assess and modernize how nuclear materials curriculum is taught, students are trained, and the field advanced across academia, national labs, and industry. Drawing on pre-survey input, the panel and follow-on working lunch will focus on aligning education with evolving workforce and research needs. The discussion is intended to move beyond problem identification toward actionable strategies, including curriculum innovation, shared training models, and cross-sector partnerships that can strengthen and sustain the nuclear materials talent pipeline.
