National Program Committee
The National Program Committee is responsible for the general character of all technical meetings of which the ANS is the sponsor or a major co–sponsor; soliciting and receiving technical papers; approving special technical sessions or discussions; and establishing standards, schedules, and procedures for selection and presentation at these meetings. The Committee has two subcommittees: The National Screening Subcommittee reviews proposals for all Topical Meetings, and the National Meeting Subcommittee participates in the process for selection of future venues for ANS National Meetings.
Member Responsibilities:
- Attend committee meetings at each of the national meetings and participate on conference calls as needed.
- Review proposals for ANS meetings and status reports on meetings in planning stages.
Helpful Traits for Members:
- Involvement in planning at least one ANS Topical Meeting and/or National Meeting.
- Attendance at one or more Topical Meetings and/or National Meetings.
- Knowledge of ANS Professional Divisions and educational activities that they conduct.
- Familiarity with National Meetings and/or Topical Meetings Manuals.
