This Award was established in 1994 by the Operations and Power Division to recognize an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and has contributed greatly to the success of the nuclear power industry. In 2005 it officially became a national award.
The criteria are non-specific. Therefore, the nomination must provide supporting details and sufficient facts for the selection committee to make an informed decision.
The award consists of an engraved plaque that is presented in August each year in conjunction with the ANS Utility Working Conference (UWC). Nominations may be submitted at any time during the year, but should be submitted by
April 30
to be considered for the current year.
