This award recognizes outstanding achievement by individuals in the generation and use of ANS standards in the field of nuclear science and engineering. The purpose of the award is to identify and honor those individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of ANS nuclear standards.
Award recipients are selected by the ANS Standards Board. Nominees must be current ANS members, or a past member who was a member in good standing at the time of their major contribution. Any ANS member may nominate a worthy candidate.
Nomination forms are available from the Standards Department at ANS Headquarters and from this web site. The nomination form and supporting documents must be received at ANS no later than April 16.
An engraved plaque will be presented during the ANS Winter Meeting.
