Recognizes members who have made outstanding contributions to the development and understanding of the goals and policies of the Society or who have made outstanding non-technical contributions to the nuclear science and engineering field. Such contributions might include development and understanding or extension of the goals and policies of the Society, outstanding leadership in and for the Society, or for outstanding non-technical contributions to the Society's aims in any area.

Each award is an ad hoc consideration and may be based on a single specific outstanding activity or a record of sustained outstandin g contributions to the Society.

Nominations must include the completed nomination form accompanied by the following supporting documents:

• A letter of recommendation
• A narrative summary of about 1,000 words, including accomplishments, period of activity, and significance of achievements
• A list of publications
• A brief chronological resume
• Letters of support (support letters recommended but not required, no more than five)

Nomination Deadline: March 1 and August 1

Presented: Annual and Winter Meeting
