South Korea looks to Southern and NuScale
This week, the United States and South Korea have taken two steps toward deepening their nuclear partnership through two notable announcements. First, the majority-state owned Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power signed a memorandum of understanding with Birmingham, Ala.–based Southern Nuclear.

The paper reviews recent results in fueling and diagnostics of high temperature plasmas of tokamaks and stellarators by means of pellet injection. Physical and engineering problems of the pellet technologies are considered. The technologies developed can be applied for fueling and diagnostics of open systems.
