A preliminary comparative neutronics study showed that there are large discrepancies in the ⁶Li(n,α)T and ⁷Li(n,n′α)T reaction rates calculated for top-ranking fusion blanket concepts with the JEF-1- and ENDF/B-V-based nuclear data libraries. Detailed analysis is necessary and data testing integral experiments should be employed to identify the deficiencies in these nuclear data evaluations.
