Knoxville’s nuclear workshop opens with a full house and a long to-do list
The East Tennessee Economic Council’s Nuclear Opportunities Workshop opened yesterday morning at the Knoxville Convention Center, drawing registrants from around the country, and will close later today following a packed lineup of policy and industry leaders.

The current INTOR design concept and the ongoing work in the INTOR Workshop are reviewed. The ongoing work includes evaluation of innovations that could substantially improve tokamak reactors, analysis of critical technical issues that affect the feasibility of the INTOR design concept and revision of the INTOR conceptual design.
