Knoxville’s nuclear workshop opens with a full house and a long to-do list
The East Tennessee Economic Council’s Nuclear Opportunities Workshop opened yesterday morning at the Knoxville Convention Center, drawing registrants from around the country, and will close later today following a packed lineup of policy and industry leaders.

The tritium facility at KMS Fusion, Inc. supports our Inertial Confinement Fusion research program. The main function of the facility is to fill glass or polymer shells to a maximum pressure of 100 atm. with tritium (T2) or deuterium-tritium (DT). The apparatus and procedures used in this process are described including provisions for tritium containment and monitoring. An estimate of equipment costs is given.
