New X-ray imaging for ITER-supporting tokamaks
As researchers continue to seek ways to better understand the plasma inside fusion machines to fully harness fusion energy, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory is leading a project to provide new X-ray imaging systems to two international tokamak projects: WEST, in southern France, and JT-60SA, in Japan—both of which are designed to support the development of ITER.
ANS Professional Divisions provide members a more focused means to participate in the Society and support the development of the larger nuclear professional community. Divisions organize topical meetings as well as sessions at national ANS conferences; support the development of standards and policy statements relevant to their skilled niche, recognize accomplishments with awards; and promote research in their respective fields with scholarships. ANS members receive free membership to unlimited Divisions. Find your technical home among 18 Divisions and the Young Members Group.
