ANS approves formation of six student sections, one local section
Last week at the American Nuclear Society’s Annual Conference in Denver, Colo., the ANS Board of Directors approved the creation of six new ANS student sections and one new local section. Including these new additions, the Society now boasts 37 local sections and 70 student sections, which together represent ANS members across every region of the United States.

The International Conference on Mathematics and Computational Methods Applied to Nuclear Science and Engineering (M&C 2027) is part of a series of topical meetings organized by the Mathematics and Computation Division of the American Nuclear Society. M&C conferences, held every two years, represent a series of international forums organized and sponsored to bring together worldwide expertise related to nuclear science or technology, including mathematical and computational methods, numerical analysis, computer codes, computer architectures, and benchmarks for computationally solving problems in all disciplines encompassed by the Society.
M&C 2027 has partnered with the ANS journal Nuclear Science and Engineering (NSE) to publish a special issue of papers derived from the conference. Details will be released closer to the meeting.
Authors and presenters are cordially invited to participate in this event to exchange ideas and knowledge, develop strong relationships across organizations, and establish collaborations to solve challenging problems.
