NuScale looks to Paragon for I&C
Paragon Energy Solutions, a Mirion Technologies company, has won a contract from NuScale Power to complete the final design development of Paragon’s Highly Integrated Protection System (HIPS) for use with the 77-MWe NuScale Power Module, which can be deployed with a single control room supporting as many as 12 modules. Under the contract, Paragon is to complete the nonrecurring engineering and design deliverables for three instrumentation and control systems built on the HIPS platform: the module protection system, the safety display and indication system, and the plant protection system.
